How it works?
A matchmaking event is the ideal way to meet potential cooperation partners and a great opportunity to make new contacts. People meet and greet at high speed. 20-30 minutes are usually enough to introduce yourself and know the other part, then the bell rings and the next talk starts.
A Brokerage Event consists of 4 simple steps:
1. Online registration
During the registration you should fill three different forms:
1. Your company profile
2. Contact details of the person attending the event
3. Your co-operation profile
All the information must be written in English and will be checked and validated before being included in the catalogue. If some necessary information is missing or unclear we will contact you. Profiles which are incomplete, unclear or irrelevant to the event will not be considered.
In your profile you can state what kind of technology/product/expertise you are offering, what kind of cooperation you are looking for and which ideas you would like to discuss with potential collaboration partners.
It is allowed to register only 1 participant per organisation; we will only allow 2 participants from the same organisation if they both are from completely different business areas.
2. Promotion of published profiles
All published profiles will be promoted by the organisers of this event. Furthermore, all participants of the event will view your cooperation profile. Cooperation profile is the most important part, because without a cooperation profile you will not be requested for talks! You can create several cooperation profiles depending on your needs. All cooperation profiles will be published online and will be for everyone to see.
3. Selection of bilateral meetings
Email notification
You will receive an e-mail when you can start booking bilateral meetings. Check which cooperation profiles are the most interesting for you. Use different kind of filters to make a quick identification of the most suitable participants/cooperation profiles.
Booking of bilateral meetings
Once you have found the most interesting business partners you can ask them for a meeting. You can add further meetings any time but please be aware that the bookings are managed on the principle "first come - first served" and a limitation of meeting requests can be established by organisers based on participants/meeting, space and capacity. You can book meetings BUT you can also be booked for bilateral talks by other participants!
Your schedule
A few days before the event you will receive your personal meeting schedule (furthermore you can constantly check your meeting schedule online). Your personal meeting schedule lists in chronological order for each meeting: the time, the number of the table and who you are going to meet.
A minimum of 2 confirmed transnational meetings are required to qualify as a Smart City brokerage participant and receive the code to get the Exhibition Visitor Pass (50% discount) or the Congress & Trade Fair Pass (25% discount).
4. At the event
Bilateral meetings take place at your chosen times at the Brokerage Event stand. Our staff will be at your disposal during the whole matchmaking event.
