Description The department of ICT of Fundació CIM consists on a group of engineers and researchers with a background and plenty of experience in the design and development of ICT solutions with multiple applications including real time and critical systems, web and distributed applications, web services, cloud computing, ubiquitous and multimodal applications, machine learning, large-scale data management and analysis, internet applications for and smart devices, embedded systems, software and algorithms development, mobile applications, artificial vision, artificial intelligence, cognitive systems, automation, microelectronics, smart sensors and robotics.

Prototyping and Manufacturing

We offer state-of-the-art prototyping and manufacturing equipment. Our facilities include the top-end technologies in Additive Manufacturing, Machining and Prototyping, thus allowing us to undertake research projects in these fields. In particular, the following Rapid Prototyping techniques can be found at Fundacio CIM: Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Wax prototypes, Silicone Moulds and Quick Moulding. FCIM offers a wide range of technological services helping organizations to be more productive, improving their industrial processes and raising the quality of their products to compete successfully in global markets. The services are the result of more than 20 years of background in the field of production technologies. As a result, FCIM can count on a team of highly qualified professionals and offer a wide range of quality services and carry out research projects. The benefits of these services are dedicated to finance research projects, to renew the machinery and the provision of scholarships for technical careers. At the same time, special attention is given to the emerging strategic alliances with institutions that develop scientific and auxiliary disciplines to FCIM developments. In this aspect, the Fundacio CIM is member of EFFRA.
