SUSTAINABLE DISTRICTS

Sustainable Districts aims to be a new model for urban regeneration of deprived areas. We are
working on a proposal for redeveloping and reinvigorating a southern district area of the City of
Madrid. This proposal encompasses a whole set of activities aimed at creating the
socioeconomic conditions necessary to revamp this area of Madrid. Social innovation lies at the
core of this proposal, together with the use of public spaces and nature based solutions as
catalysts for citizens engagement and committment of other stakeholders.
we are looking for partners interested in new models of urban regeneration for socially
deprived áreas, including business models, technology providers and organizations working in
similar projects in other parts of the world and, especially in emerging markets.
