TrafPOINT consists of two main parts; a mobile app that communicates with sensors on the bus, and a cloud-based service that collects all information and offers a real-time picture of travel patterns and environmental profiles. Because the service consists of software and hardware known technology requires little financial investment to get TrafPOINT operational within larger areas.

The solution is weill suited to smart cities, and route planning and ticketing examples of services that can already linked to TrafPOINT.

For municipalities and other managers, it is important to sit with updated and accurate information on traffic and travel needs throughout the course of a day. TrafPOINT is only solution that supports virtual stops. This means that if you have passengers who uses an unauthorized stop, TrafPOINT will automatically include this in future route planning.

Using unstructured data for better utilisation of smart citites and ITS.

All cities, as well as companies working within ITS, are challenged with the task managing, allocating and reallocating available space. By offering a userfriendly platform for sharing information about location, preferences, different set properties like history, nearby points of interests and other relevant data, larger datasets will be available for a complete picture of the utilisation of city, harbour, airfields and other sites with complex usage. It is particulary well suited for smart cities and adapting to special situations that may arise. Other parties are also invited to participate with adding private held properties. An important part is the ability to export an overview of the estimated climate footprint, as well as integration with KPIs for smart cities.
