DescriptionSensing & Control Systems offers solutions that facilitate the management and allocation of key resources such as people, infrastructure, assets, security and energy. S&C specializes in creating tools that ensure that businesses and individuals can have a continuous flow of the necessary information for timely decision making to ensure the efficiency and integrity of their resources. Our technical skills include Internet of things, cloud computing, middleware, sensors network, M2M services among others and we have an extensive expertise in European collaborative project in topics of Smart Cities, energy, environment, security, safety and health. S&C has also proven experience in Wireless Sensor Network development, monitoring and tracking software development. One of our key R&D projects iURBAN proposes to develop and validate a software platform that will integrate different ICT energy management systems (H/W and S/W) in two European cities. This intelligent URBAn eNergy tool provides useful data to a novel decision support system that make available the necessary parameters for the generation and further operation of new business models. These business models will contribute at a global level to efficiently manage and distribute the energy produced and consumed at a local level (city or neighborhood), incorporating behavioral aspects of the users into the software platform and in general prosumers (entity that consumes and produces energy).
