DescriptionThe Economic Strategy Bureau was established in April 2013 to improve Osaka's international competitiveness and attract people, goods, and investments from around the world, leading to sustainable growth of the Osaka economy. The bureau undertakes various measures, including the creation and promotion of urban appeal to rise above worldwide inter-city competition, improvement of the business environment, human resources and research functions, and supporting the growth and development of SMEs.
