Solutions & Partnership for Wallonia Cities

AWEX is willing to meet with companies, cities specialized and experienced in projects and services for urban mobility, energy management, environment, public equipments, smart and sustainable buildings, infrastructure and digital communications.
Wallonia cities are beneficiaries of FEDER funds which help them start and deploy various new projects on their territories.

Several projects among others are described for 4 cities hereafter:

City of Tournai: - mobility, analysing the traffic flow of downtown square and streets by camera in order to optimize parking turnover.

City of Liege:- bus lines reporting in real time by app and at bus stops
- developing an electric bike network in the city.

City of Namur:- Environmental project, creation of an underground waste collection. – Launching of a Fab-Lab allowing anybody to create prototype with 3D printer.

City of Charleroi: -Installing a distribution center out of the city for big trucks, and dispatching the last Km by electric vans. – Other axis concerns the urban Wi-fi to be installed in the whole city – They also look for replacing the current obsolete central urban heating with an efficient new one.
