SPABRINK

SPABRINK is a cost-effective and eco friendly self-printing advertisement board with reusable ink that is under development by SIARQ in collaboration with other companies, funded by European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration.

The goal of this project is to produce a cost effective and environmentally friendly Real-time Outdoor Media tool which can give the same visual effect as a paper based billboard, but without the use of pre-printed paper with one-time-use ink and glue which pollute our environment. Furthermore, the proposed system would increase the competitiveness of SMEs within the advertising industry by reducing the time and the cost of advert implementation but at the same time allowing more directed marketing strategies.

The product has currently reached TRL 6, and SIARQ is actively looking for an investor(s) who will help complete the rest of the development from TRL 7 to TRL 9, and/or take part in sales/ distribution of SPABRINK to our selected target markets.

FASCOM

FASCOM is the new generation of solar streetlights for Smart cities. FASCOM is SIARQ's most recent project and it is under development in collaboration with other companies such as Tecnalia, SECE, with the investment of KIC InnoEnergy.

FASCOM Domed Solar Streetlight born as the first solar lighting system specially designed for those urban spaces that aim to integrate new sustainable ways of living.
It is more than a simple streetlight: it is a Smart Solar Design system capable of harvesting energy from the sun and delivering as light for illuminating our cities.
The aesthetic value and cutting-edge technology of FASCOM will generate a new perception of solar applications in the environment.
