Inovatica offers expertise in the area of solutions for cities and regions. We specialize in technologies for smart cities (multimodal route planer, real time route planning) and local administration. Our research in scope of new technologies focus on using drones in modern cities, especially to improve surveillance systems. What is more we are interested in development of precision agriculture, Orthophoto Mapping and Lidar Topographic Mapping with the aid of drones. This way of data gathering enables creation of clear interface design for mapping solutions that satisfy the requirements of UX and User Centered Design concepts. Our research in scope of new technologies focus on using drones in modern cities: -multimodal route planning - we’re trying to improve our dynamic passanger information systems by researching possibilities of using drones in public transport route planning and for gathering information about traffic and mass transport vehicles real time data. -surveillance systems - Inovatica researches possibilities of using drones for surveillance technology tools. Main advantage of drones, ability to fly make them one of best solutions for improvement of everyday safeness. -ortophoto mapping and lidar topographic mapping - by using drones aid Inovatica research ways of preparing better maps and clear interface design for mapping solutions. It’s made through ortophoto – kind of scaled photographic map, on which it is perfectly possible to perform measurements as if it were a standard map. These photographs are shot by air with help of drones. -precision agriculture - Inovatica researches new ways of using drones for precision agriculture. By aerial photography and photomapping with roll-stabilised camera, drone gathers data about crops and fields that’s relevant for precision agriculture.
